Liberty Home Oktoberfest Needs Volunteers

Liberty Home in Hamilton – who have the oldest Oktoberfest in the area – are in need of volunteers for their Oktoberfest which is held on Labor Day Weekend, September 2, 3, 4. Volunteers are needed in all areas, beer booths, poker booth, pastries, etc. Each volunteer will be admitted free and will be furnished a meal. There is no cash to handle as tickets are used for everything. The hours are Friday from 6 PM to Midnight, Saturday from 4 PM to Midnight and Sunday from 2 PM to Midnight.

Please consider helping by volunteering for a shift. Liberty Home is one of the oldest German Organizations in the area and if we do not help them they may need to abandon their Oktoberfest in the future. This would be dreadful since they have had an Oktoberfest since 1966.

You can phone the following people to volunteer:
Gottfried Schlembach 513-737-5061
Klaus Gieser 513-571-6198
Chris Schnetzer 513-761-3713
Karl Giesler 513-863-1605
Ron Erbeck 513-523-282

Have you recently toured a brewery, been to a new favorite beer bar, or have some other beer related news you’d like to share with the club?  Let us know and we’ll include it in the newsletter.
