Dave H., Brian B., Jim F.

Toast @ 7:30 PM

SODZ British Beer Fest coming up on Feb 26th

Membership: New official lists have been generated based on paid dues. Ray S. and Andy M. suggested we have two lists — one for members

and one for public. Ray to segregate lists and work with Darryl on setting up the E-mailer system.

Bus Trip: Brian B. commented that the bus is nearly full and trip plans are looking good. Have 46 paid as of the board meeting with a few

straglers to catch up with.

Bockfest: Parade is March 4. We have a new banner made by Andy M. to carry with us. Andy M. to work on flag as well. Presented pricing

to the board. Board agreed to move forward with the purchase. Should have the new flag by the parade to help represent the Bloats! Meet

5pm(ish) Friday at Arnolds to march. Competition is Saturday March 5. Registration is open. Judging at noon. Might even be Zydeco music to

go with judging!

Bloat Open: Scott LaF. and Andy M. to run the competition. Dick Mahiques volunteered to help where needed.

Winter Beerfest: Booth reps needed for Saturday Night. Ray G. and Mark H. working on Friday night. Ray G. offered to work Sat too if we

can’t get anyone.

Legal: Phil M. spoke about our governess issues regarding the clubs’ legal/tax status. Vorys law firm has come back with a letter with new

‘code of regulations’ based upon our current bylaws. First order of business is our new “Corporate Charter” using new standardized language. A

printed example was passed. To amend or change a vote will be necessary. This should happen by the next monthly meeting.

Code of Regulations: must be filed with the State of Ohio with any changes we make. At next meeting Phil M. will petition to make this change.

Petition is recorded and then voted on at next monthly meeting (at least 30 days). One major difference from current is the election of a Board

and Officers. Board is elected first by members and then the Board appoints Officers.

Andy M. to publish and distribute to members only a special edition of Bosmopolitan once the info is obtained from the law firm.

Club must file for a tax ID # and are waiting official info regarding status of Beer & Sweat, etc.

Meeting adjourned at 7:50 PM
